28 Preve nting Cam era Sh ake If you move th e camera when pressing the shutter release butt on, the still image might not com e out clearly due to cam era shak e. The mark displayed on the L CD m onitor indicates t hat cam era shake m ay occur. To prevent camera shake, use a t ripod or hold the camera s ecurely with both hands when you shoot.

54 Direct Printing Dir ect Print Functi on The Direc t Print s tandard enables direct pr inting from a cam era to a printer by connect i ng t hem via a USB cable. Phot os can be print ed quickly and easily from your digital camera without using a compute r.

The cam era automatically measur es the distances to a maximum of five A F areas from among 17 AF ar eas and focuses to the nearest AF area (MULTI AF).

83 Using the Va rious Shoot i ng and Playbac k Func tions Chan ging th e Sensi tivity (I SO S ETTI NG) ISO s ensitivity indicates how sensitiv e film is to light. A greater v alue me ans h igher sensitivity. High sensitivity is suitable for shooting an object in a dark plac e or a fast-m oving objec t while minimizing blurring.
