4 T o Charge the Battery: 1. Power off the cam e ra. 2. Conn ect the c am e ra w i th the USB cab le to the AC charger or to the com pu ter (as shown above ). 3. Al low the batte ry to cha rge for at least 3 hours before using the first tim e. 4. T he charge light w i ll turn o f f when the battery is fully charged.
5 W hen powering the cam era ON for the first time the cam era wil l take you through the initial camera setup. 1) Charging Y our Battery To charge your battery, first connect the USB C able to your cam era.

10 Make sur e the built-in lithium battery has been fully charged before the f i rst use. Make sur e an SD card has been inserted into your camera. (SD card up to 32GB - S D Card not included) Please see Initial Camera Setup for more in f orm atio n.

13 The Video Capture Mode allows you to cap tur e videos with your digita l camera. W hen the camera is f ir st pow er ed ON, the ca m er a w ill be in V ideo Capture Mode. 1) W hile in V ideo C apture Mode use the LCD dis pla y to direct the camera at the scene you w oul d like to capture.

16 The Scene Menu allow s you to cho ose sc ene settings that let your cam era to ada pt pr operly to your current environment. 1) Press the MENU button to open the m enus for t he current m ode. 2) Press the L E FT or RIGHT direction control button to sc roll and select the Scene m enu.
17 The Im ag e Quality m enu allow s you to select the desired qua li ty l evel of t he i m age s taken by your cam era. Keep i n m ind t hat im ag es w ith a high er im age quali ty level w i ll a lso take up m o re m e mory on yo ur cam era. 1) Press the MENU button to open the m enus for t he current m ode.
18 The W hite Balance feature allows your cam e ra to adjust the coloring of the captured i m ages depending on the type of ligh t source in the current environm e nt.
19 Y ou can se t the level of sharpness in the images t aken with your cam era. The sharpness level dictates if the edges of obj e ct s in t he im age are more or l ess distinct. 1) Press the MENU button to open the m enus for t he current m ode. 2) Press the L E FT or RIGHT direction control button to sc roll and select the Sharpness m enu.

23 Y ou have the option of act ivating the camcorder ’s Silent m ode t o disable all of the sound eff ects (except for beeps heard du ring the Self -T imer countdow n) that the camcorder em its w hen perfor m i ng cam corder funct i ons. 1) Press the MENU button to open the m enus for t he current m ode.
24 The op t ions in the Frequency m enu r epresent the frequency of th e electrical current in flu o rescent lighting sources i n your loca le . If your cam er a is set to a frequency that does not m a tch your coun try’ s ele ct ric current, you m a y see flickering or waves on the im a ges taken by your camera.
25 5) T o proce e d with the form at, sel ec t “Y es” and p ress the OK button . Y ou wil l be asked to confirm the for m atti ng of t he m emory card. Se lect “No” to exit without form a tting. Sel ect “Y es” and press the OK button to b egin.

27 The Playback Mode a llows you to review and edit photos and videos that you’ve already tak en w ith your camera. W hen you first turn on the cam er a, the camera w ill be in Photo Capture m o de by default . Pre ss the MODE button twice to open the Pla yback Mode.

53 1) Insert the insta llation CD into your CD -ROM drive. On PC: The Polaroid Instant Me m orie s Installer w i ndow appears. If the w ind ow does no t appear , open t he ap plication’s CD/DVD dr ive and c lick on “Setup . exe ” to launch t he i nsta ller .
54 1) Use the USB cable that cam e with you r cam era to connect your cam era t o your computer . 2) Pow er the camera ON. 3) The fir st tim e yo u connect the device to the com puter you will ha ve to wait a few seconds until the com puter r ecogn iz es the device.

60 Q: I hav e taken photos and selecte d the “Get Im ages” b utt on. I get a message that the images were successfully tran sferred but the p hotos do not appear on my computer . What do I do?
