11 (ENG) V QT4N50 ∫ Handli ng of the camer a • Waterproofing is not guaranteed if the unit is subject to an impact as a result of being hit or dropped etc. If an impact to the camera occurs, it should be inspected (subject to a fee) by a Panasonic to verify that the waterproofing is still effective.

13 (ENG) V QT4N50 • Use the camera underwater to 7 m (23 feet) with the water temperature be tween 0 o C and 40 o C (32 o F and 104 o F). • Do not use for scuba diving (Aqualung). • Do not use the camera at a depth of over 7 m (23 feet). • Do not use it in the hot water over 40 o C (104 o F) (in the bath or hot spring).

VQT4N50 (ENG) 16 Charging the Battery Use t he de dicat e d ch arger and ba tte r y . • The battery is not charged when the camera is shipped. Charge the ba ttery before use. • Charge the battery with the charger indoors [10 o C to 30 o C (50 o F to 86 o F)].
