Preparation 12 VQT1C39 ∫ Battery sh apes that ca nnot be used • Batteries with unusual shapes cause leakage, heat generat ion or explosion if inser ted in the camera. • Batteries with the covering partly or fully peeled off . Ne ver use these batteries.
Preparatio n 13 VQT1C39 • If “memory effect” occurs, continue using the batteries until the camera stops working and then c harge them fully . Battery performan ce will be restored after a fe w c harges and discharges. • Ov er time Ni-MH batteries naturally discharge and th eir capacity lowers e ven when they are not used.

Advanced (Recor ding pictures) 55 VQT1C39 Recor ding whic h Day of the V acation Y ou T ake the Picture If you set the depar ture date of the vacation in advance, the number of days that hav e passed since the depar ture date (which day of the v acation it is) is recorded when you take the picture.

Connecting to other equipment 88 VQT1C39 Printing the Pictures By connecting the camera directly to a printer suppor ting PictBridge via the USB connection cable (supplied), you can select the pictures to print and star t printing on the camera’ s screen.
