13 (ENG ) VQT 2M41 1 :With the [LOCK] switc h released, c lose the card/ battery door and terminal cover by pus hing until you hear a cli ck. • T o prevent wat er seeping into t he camera, be careful not to trap forei gn object s such as liquids , sand, hair or du st etc.
VQT 2M41 (ENG ) 14 • Use the camera und erwater up to 10 m (33 feet) dep th, water te mperatu re from 0 o C to 40 o C (32 o F to 104 o F) , and not lon ger than 60 minut es continuou sly . • If there is a water or dirt on th e camera, use it af ter wiping it off with a dry soft cloth and dri ed at well ventilat ed area.

VQT 2M41 (ENG ) 16 1 With t he card/b attery door and terminal cover closed, rinse with water , or if it w as used in the sea, soak the uni t in fresh water p ooled in a shallow co ntai ner for 10 minutes or less. • If you have att ached the silicon jacket, be sure to rinse th e camera after removing it.
17 (ENG ) VQT 2M41 ∫ This unit incorp orates drain desig n This unit incorporates dr ain design, draining water in gaps in the c amera [OFF /ON] button and zoom lever etc. As a result of this, bubbles may come out when you soak the unit in wat er , but it is not a malfunction.

23 (ENG ) VQT 2M41 ∫ About the [CHARGE] indicator • When the [ CHARGE] i ndicato r flashes – The battery temperatur e is too high or to o low . It is recommended to charge the ba tter y aga in in an ambi ent tem per ature of between 10 ºC to 35 ºC (50 o F to 95 o F) .
VQT 2M41 (ENG ) 24 About the Built-in Memo ry/the Card • Memory size: Approx. 40 MB • The built-i n memory can be used as a tempor ary storage devic e when the car d being used beco mes full. • The access time for th e built-in memory may be longe r than the access ti me for a card.
