Menu operations 26 EN [ e SHOOT & SELECT1]/ [ f SHOOT & SELECT2 ] • These scene modes allow you to take sequential pictures by holding down the shutter button. After shooti ng the pictures, select the ones you want t o erase by marking them with a R and press f / S to erase t hem.

This function lets you select a fr ame, integrate the frame with an image, and save it as a new picture.
Menu operations 32 EN This function lets you select a calendar format, integ rate the calendar with a picture, and save it as a new file. • Select the picture wit h 43 and press e . • Select the calenda r with 43 , and press e (Press 12 to turn the picture 90 degrees clockwise or 90 d egrees counterclockwise) .
Menu operations EN 33 Select a picture with 43 , and use 12 to select [ U +90° ], [ V 0°], or [ T -90°]. You can rotate several frames in succession. Sound is recorded for about 4 seconds. • Select a picture with 43 , and select [YES] with 12 , then press e to begin recording.
Menu operations 34 EN • The factory default settings are di splayed in gray ( ). All existing data, including pro tected pictures, are erased when the internal memory or card is formatted (images registered to “My Favorite” are not erased).

You can add other languages to your camera wit h the provided OLYMPUS Master software. • Select [2] and press e to set a still pi cture in t he intern al memo ry or card as the sta rtup screen.
Menu operations 36 EN Structure of Folder name /File name The pixel mapping feature allows the came ra to check and adjust the CCD and image processing functions. It is no t necessary to operate this f unct ion frequently. Appr oximately once a year is recommen ded.
Menu operations EN 37 The date and time is saved with each image, and is used in the file name. • The first two digits of the year are fixed. • The time is displayed in the 24-hour format. • To set the time precisely, with the cursor at ei the r on “Minute” or [Y/M/D], pr ess e as the time signal st rikes 00 seconds.

Using OLYMPUS Master EN 45 Using OLYMPUS Master Using the USB cable pr ovided with your camera , you can connect the camera and computer and download (transf er) the images to your computer using the OLYMPUS Master software, also provided with the camera.

Appendix 62 EN Appendix Exterior: • Wipe gently with a soft cloth. If the camera is very dirty , soak the cloth in mild soapy water and wring well. Wipe the camera with the damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. If you have used the camera at the beach, use a cloth soaked in clean water and wrung well.
