3 Installation Procedure on Mac OS X 1. Insert the software CD and leav e it in the CD-ROM during installation. 2. Double-clic k the oXYgen Scan 2.5.5 icon. 3. 5 Recommendations On the internal hard disk, y ou should hav e free space that is at least three times the size of the scanned file. This space is f or temporar y use by the scanner . Tip: The recommended scanning or der is to start from the top of the right column, downwards, and continuing fr om the top of the next column to the left.

11 Defining a Crop Area for Analysis Y ou can sp ecify that only part of the crop is used for the cr op analysis. If y ou do not use this option to define a cro p area, the default for the crop anal ysis is 90%. 1. Select Setup>Operations Modes or on the keyboard press C MD +K.

14 oXYgen Scan Version 2.5.5 Release Notes Known Limitations • The metadata featur e is not fully functional. • If y ou open a DT file created with an earlier oXYgen Scan version, y ou must use input profiles from an earlier oXYgen Scan version. • After y ou manually adjust cast factors, you must quit and r estar t the oXYgen Scan software.
