2 A NSWERING AN O UT SIDE C ALL EITHER, Lift the handset. OR, Press . OR, Press the flashing key . R EDIALING AN O UT SI DE N UMBER While on a call or after selecting a line, press . A line is selected auto- matically , and the number is dialed. P LACING A C ALL ON H OLD Press (Hold) and hang up or place another call.
3 T RA NSFERRING A C ALL TO AN O UTSIDE N UMBER 1. Press and select an outside line. 2. Dial the desired t elephone number . 3. W ait for an answer, announc e the call, and then hang up. If the number is busy , there is no answer , or the transfer is r efused, press the flashing key to return to the caller .
4 If your MSG key is not lit, access your mailbox by following these steps: 1. Dial the voice mail extension numb er . (Y ou hear the main menu.) 2. During or after the greeting, press to identify yourself as a subscriber . 3. Enter your mailbox number and your personal passwo rd (if programmed).

R EMOTE F EATURE A CCESS Remote Feature Access allows you to place your phone in Do-Not-Dist urb mode or f orward calls, either from another phone or through a special dial-up line. If you do not hear a tone af ter each step, or if you hear repeating ton es, you have made a mistake or the feature is restricted.

FINDING YOUR W A Y 5 Model 8560 Display Phone and Model 8660 IP Phone User Guide LCD Menu Keys In addition to the various feature keys, your phone contains an LCD with six different lines. The top two lines show call in formation and messages; th e remaining four lines display a menu, which changes accordin g to the feature you are using.

The Message Indicat or lamp flashes whenever there is a waiting message.

TIP: Generally speaking, pressing during any voice mail op eration will advance you to the next step.

While logged in, the agent receives calls through the ACD hunt gr oup. Whe n the agent is logged out, calls to that ACD hunt group bypass the agent.
