10 11 Getting Ready 1 LOADING THE BA TTERIES AND THE MEDIA 2 Load the batteries correctly as indicated by the polarity icons. 1 Check that the camera is turned off (viewfinder lamp is off) before opening the battery cover. ● ! 45 Settings 4 44 SET -UP F USING THE SET-UP SCREEN ● ! Always turn the camera off when replacing the batteries. Opening the battery cover or disconnecting the AC power adapter without turning the camera off may cause the camera settings to revert to the factory default values set at shipment.
47 Settings 4 46 When the camera is in Sleep mode, pressing “ a ”, “ b ”, “ d ” or “ c ” wakes the camera up. This is useful since the camera can be ready to take pictures instantly. Pressing also the Shutter button wakes the camera up.
