3 1) T he SyncF ocus is powered by two AAA batteries (not included). Insert batteries into the compartment (G ) , using the polarity marks inside for refer ence. A power meter in the lower left corner of the display indicates ba ttery condition. 2) Insert an SD or SDHC card into slot (J) if greater storage is desired.
4 T o stop recording the video , press the SNAP button again. By default, videos are recorded as a 15 second loop (“ instant replay”). T o change this, press MENU -the rst item is “Resolution ” . Press Enter , then select “ Video Size ” .
5 Loading Batteries T urn the SyncFocus over , slide open the batter y cov er as indicated by the arro w , remove and set aside. Insert 2 AAA Alkaline or Lithium batteries into the compartment (G) in the direc tion indicated inside , then replace the cover , sliding it back into place until it clicks .
6 BASIC SETUP Setting the Date and Time/Date Stamp F eature Y ou may want to go in to the main options menu and set the correct date and time befor e beginning to take photos (or turn o the date stamp featur e, as the default setting is “ on ”).
7 Setting the Reticle Focus and Diopter A djustment Before you beg in taking photos, a few simple, one-time adjustments should be made to ensure that y ou can get sharp photos of any subject by just using the main focus knob on the binoculars. This process will compensate for an y variations in the eyesight or vision of the individual user: 1.
