Chapter 3 Prepar ation s 40 3-6 Handl ing Discs The disc is e jected. After re moving the disc, y ou do not need to retur n the screw to its orig inal positi on. Normal o peration wi ll resume when the unit is powered o n again. 3 Close the rubber cover fi rmly.

The state of section where recordi ng was interrupted is saved, but no salvage proc essing i s done. Sections whi ch were recorded normally can be p layed back, but no new recording can be done o n the di sc.

Chapter 4 Recording/ Pla ybac k 43 4-1 Recording T o set the video recor di ng format Use basic menu item 031 “RECORDING FORMAT” to select the video recording format fr om MPEG IMX 50 Mbps, MPEG I MX 40 Mbps, MPE G IMX 30 Mbps, a nd DVCAM. The factory d efault setting i s IMX50.
Chapter 4 Recordin g/Pla ybac k 44 4-1 Recordin g 4-1-2 Recording Time Code and User Bit V alues There are the foll owing four ways of reco rding t ime cod e: • Internal P reset mode, which recor ds the out put of the interna l time code genera tor, set before hand to an initia l value.
