Page 9 Step 6 : On Blu-Link, press and hold the Start and Enter buttons at the same time. The PS3™ device button on the remote should light while holding these buttons. If it does not light, press the PS3™ device button PS3 and try again. After a few seconds the PS3™ should recognize the remote and complete registration.

Page 12 Notes : Even if all buttons aren’t doing exactly what you want, Blu-Link™ can “learn” buttons from other remotes and can be customized as desired.
Page 13 Step 2 : Enter setup mode by holding the device button down for approximately 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to conrm that you are in setup mode. Step 3 : Press Rec button to enter “learning” mode. Note : Y ou have 20 seconds to perform each of these steps.
Page 14 T roubleshooting : T o achieve the best results during “learning” mode: • If you are having trouble, move away from any Plasma TV , avoid uorescent lighting and direct sunlight. • Gradually vary the distance between the two remote con - trols.

Page 17 Controlling V olume (Punc h Through) In a fairly typical setup with a TV , PS3™ and Cable box, there is only one device that controls the sound. It would be difcult to switch devices between Cable and TV every time you want to change the volume.
Page 18 V olume Punch Through is completely customizable. For ex- ample, if you have a surround sound system, you may want vol- ume commands to be sent there instead of the TV . T o do this, you would set the surround sound system as the sound master .

Page 23 Subtitles : Pressing the Subt button turns on closed caption- ing or subtitles for some models of TVs. PIP Controls : The bottom row of colored buttons offer control over Picture-in-Picture modes. Cable / Sa tellite / D VR List : On some devices with DVR capabilities, pressing the List button will bring up a list of recorded programs.
