9 GB Power Levels and T ime V ariations The power level function enables you to adapt the amount of energy dissipated and thus the time required to cook or reheat your food, according to its type and qua ntity. You can choose bet ween six power levels.

19 GB Cooking by Convection The convection mode enables you to cook food in the same w ay as in a traditional oven. The microwave mode is not used. You can set the temperature, as required , in a range varying from 40°C to 250°C in eight preset levels.
20 GB Choosing the Heating Element Position The heating element is used when grilling. There is only one position listed. We need to tell consumers when it should be placed in the vertlcal position. The h eating element is used when cooking food by convection, grilling or spit roasting.

23 GB Safety-locking Y our Microwave Oven Your microwave oven is fitted with a special Child Safety programme, which enables the oven t o be “locked” so that children or anyone unfamilia r with it ca nnot operate it accidentally. The oven can be lo cked at any time.
24 GB Cookware Guide To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the fo od, without bein g reflected or ab sorbed by the dish used. Care must therefore be taken when choosing the cookware. If the cookware is marked microwave-safe, you do not need to worry.

This can be of great advantage, if unexpected guest s suddenly show u p. Frozen poultry must be thoroughly thawed befor e cooking.
29 GB Cooking Guide (continued) GRILL The grill-heating element is located underneath the ceiling of the cavity. It operates while the door is clo sed and the turntable is rotating. The turnt able’s rotation makes the food brown more evenly. Preheating the grill for 4 minutes will ma ke the food brown more quickly.
