11 Display Panel The display panel shows the status o f the machine, error messages and func tion men us. Importa nt ❒ Do not apply a strong shock or force of about 30 N (about 3 kgf) or more to the d isplay panel. If you do, the display m ight be damaged.

Copying 66 2 Other Functions Energy Saver Mode If you do not operate the m achine for a cert ain period after c opying, or wh en y ou pr ess t he { Energy Sa ver } key, the di spla y dis appe ars and the machi ne enters Energy Sa ver mode. When yo u press the { Energy S aver } key a gain, th e machin e returns to the read y cond ition.

Note ❒ You c an select on e of 12 pr eset ra- tios (5 enla rgement rati os, 7 red uc- tion rat ios). ❒ Use “ Crea te Margin ” to re duce the image t o 93% of its original size with the ce ntre as reference.
