En- 7 DOCK input source selects the dock (UP-A1, etc.) connected to the UP-D T1’ s Univ ersal Port. Note that some Universal Port-compatible Onkyo prod- ucts do not suppor t this functionality, in which case you will need to set the Mode Selector manu- ally .

The layout of the remote c ontroller’ s buttons varies depending on the Universal Port-compatible Onkyo product you are using.

En- 10 Listening to D AB Digital Radio Tu rn on the Universal Port-compatible Onkyo prod- uct which the UP-DT1 is connected. P ress the [PORT ] r emote mode button on your r emote controller to select the PORT input source . The UP-D T1 starts to scan the stations in W orldWide mode aut omatically.
En- 11 Pr ess the [DISPLA Y] button repeatedly to display more information about the current D AB station. 1. DLS (Dynamic Label Segment) W hen tuned to a station that’ s broadcasting DLS te xt data, the text will scroll across the display . 2. Pr ogram T ype Displays the type of program.
En- 12 Y ou can sort the available stations alphabetically , by multiplex, or active stations. Use the [PLA Y MODE] button to select the following options. Alphabet: Sort stations alphabetically. Multiplex: Sort stations by multiplex. Ac tive ST: Sort by active stations.
En- 13 Using Pr esets With the Pr eset W rite function, you can preset indi- vidual DAB digital radio stations . Presets make it easy to select your favorite stations and eliminate the need to tune the radio manually each time you want to change stations.
En- 14 When the UP-D T1’ s Mode Selector is set to TUNER, the iPod in the connected UP-A1 dock will not be charged. If you change the Mode Selector from TUNER to THROUGH while your Universal P ort-com- patible Onkyo product is in Standby mode , you must r emove and r einsert the iPod in the UP -A1 to start charging.
