You can change the display used when listening to the radio. Loading and Playing Cassettes: Press the release button to slide open the faceplate, showing the cassette insertion slot. Holding the cassette with the tape exposed to the right, insert it in the slot. The tape will start playing. Push back the bottom of the faceplate with your hand until it locks.
Skip forward or backward to other tracks during playback. Skipping to Beginning of Current Track or to Previous Tracks (Rewind DPSS): Press the 4 button. Press once to rewind to the beginning of the current track, twice to rewind to the beginning of the previous track, and so forth.

A press of the 38 button exits the disc name preset mode. Operations can be followed again from Step 2 at a time such as this, and the characters to be input are selected using the procedure described below. Press the DISC + or DISC – button to display the desired character.

This function permits the CD text, MD title, Radio text, and Calender function to be scrolled and the entire text to be displayed. Switching between manual scrolling and automatic scrolling is permitted.
