(b) FLIP-FLOP: This feature is used in conjunction with American Audio ® mixers that also feature Fader “Q” Start. For FLIP-FLOP results you must use both sides of the MCD-710™. Connect your MCD-710 as described in the set-up section of this manual.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND CONTROLS A. CONTROLLER UNIT (FIGURE 3) 1. JOG WHEEL - This wheel has three func- tions; A. The wheel works as a pitch bend during Playback. T ur ning the wheel clockwise can increase the pitch percentage up to 100%, and turning the wheel in the counter -clockwise direction can decr ease the pitch percentage down to -100%.
4. SEARCH KNOB - The search function has four forward and four r everse speed positions allowing you to quickly scan thr ough tracks. The more you tur n the wheel in either dir ection, the faster your search. 5. TRACK/FOLDER KNOB - This knob is used to scroll backwar d and forward thr ough tracks.

5. STOPPING PLA YBACK - Figures 10 & 11 Stopping playback will not stop the drive mecha- nism, but merely pause or cue the track, this func - tion allows the unit to begin play instantly . The drive mechanism will only stop if a disc is ejected or the unit has gone in to sleep mode.
