1. MOUNTI NG 1-13 7. If the gap at a side is more than 0.5 mm , install shi m (s) to make the gap within 0.5 mm . a) Unscrew four M 10 x50 bolts. b) Unscrew f our countersunk screw s, t hen attach shi m(s) with the countersunk screws as show n below .
1. MO UNTING 1-14 The table below sho w s tank length and necess ary shim thickness. In addition, the shim thickness shown is for one side. For exam ple, when cutting the 1800 mm tank to 800 mm, the tank inside diam eter is 191.25 mm , and shim thickness is 2.

1. MO UNTING 1-18 CAUTION Keep oil away from eyes. Where protective goggles when working with the oil. The oil cause inflammation of the eyes. Do not touch the oil. The oil can cause inflammation of the skin. Wear protective gloves when working with the oil.
1. MOUNTI NG 1-19 Note 2: When t he soundome is painted (to keep m arine life off the transducer), observe the f ollowing precaut ions: • Use only anti-f ouling paint type MARINE ST AR 20 (Manufact ure: Chugoku Marin e Paint Co ., Ltd., Ja pan). • Paint only the plast ic portion of the dome.

1. MOUNTI NG 1-23 1.6 Motion Sensor MS-100 (option) The MS-100 m easures ship’ s pit ching and rolli ng angles with a sensor , using the principles of the gyroscope. The MS-100 is free from error caused by ship’s vertical and horiz ontal motion. T herefore, it can be installed at an y convenient location.
