The recommended distance and projection distance v alues gi ven below are for when the projector is fitted with a standard lens or an optional wide zoom lens.

The EMP-7950 is supplied with wireless LAN card. When using other cards, or inserting or removing a card in a PC card slot on a computer , refer to the documentation included with the card.

Enough of th e PC car d will b e ejected s o that you can grasp th e edge of the card and pull it st raight out of the slot.

35 Use r ’ s Guide T urning the Pr ojector On T urn the power on to start projecting images. Connec ting the P ower Cable PROCEDURE Check that the po wer is turned off for the projector and all components connected to the p r ojector . Connect the computer or other video so urce to the projector .

46 Adjusting the S creen Image Use r ’ s Guide When the proje ctor has be en tilted v ertica lly , autom atic ke y stone correction is carried out so that images with no distortion are projected. Automatic ke ystone correction is carried out approximately one second after the projector is set up and projection starts.

63 Use r ’ s Guide Functions f o r Enhancing Pr ojection This section describes the v arious useful functions that can be used to enhance presentations.
64 Functions for Enhancing Projection Use r ’ s Guide Free ze Funct ion This function pauses only the projected images. The sound keeps playing without pausing. The signal source will s till be playing ba ck the ima ges e v en while projection is paused, and so i t will not be possible to resume projection from the point where it was paused.
65 Functions for Enhancing Projection Use r ’ s Guide When the [ ] button is press ed, the im age is en larged with the cross at its centre . When the [ ] button is pressed, the enlarged im age is then redu ced. The enlargement ratio will appear at the bottom-right o f the screen.
