1. Introduction Thank you for purchasi ng the Wireless 11g Acce ss Point (AP) Router. This Wireless AP Router, IEEE 802.11g standard compliant, is a high quality and reliable Internet routing and security device, enables multiple use rs to shar e the Broadband Internet connection with or without wires through a Cable or DSL modem.
‧ Fixed or Dynamic IP Address: On the I nternet (WAN port) con nection, the Wireless Router supports both Dynamic IP address (IP address is allocated on con nection) and Fixed IP address. Advanced Internet Functi ons ‧ Conferencing & Telepho ny Applications: Internet Telephony and Confe rencing applications are supported.
‧ NAT Protection: This feature allows all L AN users to share a single IP address and all users’ IPs are hidden. From the exte rnal viewpoint, there is no network only Wireless Router exists. ‧ Firewall: All incoming data packets a re monitored and all incomin g server requests are filtered.

2. Setting up the hardware 2.1 Setting up a wired connection Wireless Router is supplied with an Ethernet cable in the package. 4. Configuring via the web GUI The Wireless Router includ es a web graphics user interface (web GUI) whi ch allows you to configure the wireless rout er using a web browser on your co mputer. If your PC connects to the router using a cable , launch a web browser and the login page of the router’s web GUI is automatically launched.

Metric: Metric is a value of distance for the network Interface: Network interfa ce that the route rule applie s to. 4.4 WAN Configure the Internet connection, QoS, and Server settings. 4.4.1 Internet Connection WIRELESS ROUTER supports seve ral connection types to WAN.
IP Address: This is the IP address of WIRELESS ROUT ER as seen on the remote network. If you set it to 0.0.0.0, WIRELESS ROUTER will get IP address from DHCP Server automatically. Subnet Mask: This is the Subnet Mask of WIREL ESS ROUTER as seen on the remote network.
4.4.2 Port Trigger Port Trigger function allo ws you to open cert ain TC P or UDP ports to communicate with the computers conne cted to WIRELESS ROUTER. This is done by defining tr igger port s and incoming ports. When the trigger port is det ected , the inbound packets to the specified incoming port numbe rs are redirected to your co mputer.
