Finisher-U1 4-11 Optional Equipm ent 4 Finisher -U1 The Finisher-U1 is equipped wit h the f ollo wing modes: Collate , Group , Offset, and Staple. (See "Finishi ng Modes ," on p . 4-12 .) IMPOR T ANT The Finisher-U1 cannot be installed with the o ptional Inner 2 W a y T ra y-E1.
Finisher-U1 4-12 Optional Equipm ent 4 Finishing Modes The Finisher-U1 is equipped with th e f ollowing f inishing modes . CA UTION • Do not place anything othe r than output pa per in the tr ays of the finisher , as this may damage the trays. • Do not place anything under the tra ys of the finisher , as this may damage the trays.
Finisher-U1 4-13 Optional Equipm ent 4 ■ Staple Mode The prints are automatically collated into sets arranged in pa ge order and stapled. Pr ints are stapled in the follo wing places: • If an original is placed on the platen glass: • If orig inals are placed in the optional feeder: Copies are stapled here.
