bühler 2500 Haylin er 11 The power re quired to operate t he 2500 Bale Ca rrier is su pplied by the tractors 12-volt e lectrical system. Connect the red wire to the tra ctor positive and green to tractor groun d. Connection may be made via t ractor accessory plug or alternate method.
bühler 2500 Haylin er 12 3. Carrier Control Operation To begin 2500 B ale Carrier o peration engage the remo te h ydraulic val ve in th e extension position. Lock valve in d etent. V alve to remain constantly on du ring operati on. The control h andle is fitted w ith one (1) rocker switch and four (4) momenta ry contact rocke r switches.
bühler 2500 Haylin er 13 The Fi xed Pi ck Up Arm requ ires th e operator to drive at 90° to the baling direction. The b ales are loaded “End O n”. The b ale is loaded onto the carrier d eck by depressing and holding LH or RH LIFT ARM UP until the bale rolls off the pickup arm and onto the carrier beams.

bühler 2500 Bale Ca rrier 15 7. Unloading DANGER Make sure area is cl ear before unloading. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death. NOTE: Left or right dec ks can b e unloaded in dividually or togethe r. However, the pusher moves f aster and has m ore torque when ope rated individu ally.

bühler 2500 Bale Ca rrier 17 MAINTEN A NCE CAUTION Place all controls in neutral, stop e ngine, set pa rking brake, remove ignition key an d wait for all mo ving parts to stop before servicing, adju sting or repairing the 2500 Bale Carrier. CAUTION Ensure t he 2500 B ale Carrier tires and hitch are securely block.
bühler 2500 Bale C arrier 18 2. H y draulic System W A RNING Escapin g fluid under pressu re can h ave sufficien t force to penetrate the skin, causing serious p ersonal injury. B efore repairing, adju sting, or disconnectin g lines, be sure to relieve all p ressure.
bühler 2500 Bale C arrier 19 4. Chains Check for proper ch ain t ension and spro cket alignment afte r first use a nd every 50 hours thereafter. Turn the front sprocket adju sting bo lt clockwise until there is approximately 6” (15 cm) of up ward slack in t he ch ain at the center of the trac k.

Lubricate all pins involved in RPU attachment with a SAE multi purpose grease Align arm to pivots with open end of arm fac ing away f rom the 2500 Bale Carrier and reinstall pins with hardware provided a nd torque to specifications called for in the bolt chart.
