General setup 3 1 Automatic Daylight Saving Time 1 You can set the m achi ne to change automatical ly for d aylight s avi ng time. I t will reset i tself f orward one hour in the Spring and backward one h our in the Fall. Make sure you have set the correc t date and time in the Date & Time setti ng.

11 3 3 Additional sen ding options 3 Send ing faxes us ing multiple set ti ngs 3 When you send a fax, you can choose a combinat ion of settin gs, such as Fax Resolution , 2-sided Fax 1 , Contrast , Glass Scan Size , and Real Time TX .
Chapter 3 12 Co nt rast 3 If your documen t is very light or very dark, you may want to c hange the cont rast. For m ost document s, the f actory sett ing Auto can be use d. It auto matical ly chooses the sui table con t rast for your document. Choos e Light when s ending a light doc um ent.

Sett ing a Remot e A cce ss Code 4 The Remote Acce ss Code lets you access the remote retr ieval featu res when you are away fr om your machine.
