General setup 3 1 Automatic D a ylight Saving Time 1 You can set t he machi ne to change automatical ly f or day light sa v i ng time. It will reset i tself forwar d one hour in the Spri ng and backward one h our in the Fall. Mak e sure you have set the correct dat e a nd tim e in the Date&Time setti ng.

Sending a fax 13 3 O ver seas Mod e 3 If you are having dif ficult y sending a fax overseas due to possible inter ference on t he telephone li ne, we recommend that you tur n on Over seas Mode. After you send a fax using this f eature, the feat ure will tur n itself off.

The machi ne cal culates the reduction r atio by usi ng the pa ge size of t he fax and your Paper Size sett ing.
