PHASE RESEA RCH USER GU IDE SECTION 1 - I NTRODUCTION 1-1 SECTION 1 - INTRODUCTION 1-1 General The Fast T rack 2+ 2/386 2000 Series T imer (herein also refe rred to as the T imer) helps you operate a drive-thru store more efficiently and profitably by tracking the progress of customer vehicles through the ordering and delivery process.
SECTION 1 - I NTRODUCTION 1-2 PHASE RESEA RCH USER GU IDE A fully functional system requires a customer-furnished Intercom, Menu Board Loop with V e hicle Detector and the Fast T rack 2+ 2/386 2000 Series T imer . At a minimum, the T imer contains a Main Console and a Remote Display .

PHASE RESEA RCH USER GU IDE SECTION 2 - O PERATION 2-4 2-2.1 Multiple V ehicles The T imer is capable of keeping track of up to 16 vehicles moving simultaneously through each drive-thru lane. The Timer can track the progress of each vehicle independently , accu- rately noting when each car moves onto or off a vehicle detection zone.
SECTION 2 - O PERATION 2-5 PHASE RESEA RCH USER GU IDE SECTION 2 - OPERA TION 2-4 Remote Displays The Remote Displays are 5-by-9 inch modules with three illuminated digits visibl e on both sides. The Displays show minutes and seconds to document the time each car spends during key steps in the ordering and sales process.

Labeled L1 through L8, these lights are ac tivated when their corre- sponding stations are active or occupied.
