Extra Rinse This applia nce is desig ned to save energy. If i t necessar y to rinse the la undry using an extra quantity of water (extra rinse), select this option.
Select the required programme by turning the programme selector dial (1) Turn the programme s elector dial to the required pro- gramme. The washing ma chine will automatically select the maximum sp in value provi ded for the p rogramme you have chosen.

Problem Possible cau se/Solution The washing machine d oes not sta rt: The door has not been closed (the button 6 red light blinks). • Close the door firmly. The plug is not properly in serted in the power socket. • Insert the plug into the power socket.
Problem Possible cau se/Solution There is water on the floor: Too much de tergent or unsuita ble deterg ent (creates too much foam) has been used. • Reduce the detergent quanti ty or use another one. Check whether the re are any leaks from on e of the inlet hose fittings.
Problem Possible cau se/Solution Spinning starts late or the ma chine does not spin: The electronic unbala nce detection devic e has cut in becaus e the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistribu ted by reverse rotation of the drum.
