12 THE GRILL PAN AND HANDLE The grill pan has a rem ovab le hand le. To insert the handl e, press the b utton on the ha ndle with the thumb and pivot slight ly upwards insertin g the lip into the widest par t of the brack et. Move the handle towar ds the left, l ower int o pos ition and release the but ton.

14 THE TOP OVEN The top o ven is th e sm aller of the t wo ovens. It is heated b y elements in the top oven and bo ttom of the oven. It is des igned f or c ooking sm aller quan tities of food. It g ives esp ecia lly good results if used to co ok fruit c akes , sweet or sa voury f lans or qu iche.

17 THE MAIN OVEN The main fan oven is part icular ly sui table f or cook ing larger quantities of f ood. The adva ntages of fan o ven cook ing are: PREHE A T ING The f an oven qu ick ly reaches its tem peratur e so it is not usually necess ary to preheat the o ven.
18 TO FIT THE MA IN OVEN SHELVES The shelves should be fitted with the s traigh t rods upperm ost on the f ram e and the f orm s towards the back of the ove n. The vitr eous en am el m ain oven base and gril l/top oven com partm ent base c an be c leaned using norm al oven cleaners with car e.
24 CLEANING THE OUTER AND INNER DOOR GLASS PA NELS To p revent damag ing or w eakening the door glass panels avoid the use of the following: · Household deterg ents and bleach es · Impregnated pads .
25 TO REPLACE THE OUTER DOOR GLA SS 1. Holding th e oven glass wit h both hands , ge ntl y place the locat ors into th e holes of the br ack ets at the bottom of the oven door . 2. Holdin g the door glas s with yo ur left han d, use your right hand t o open t he oven door.
