6 ■ For foods containing sugar in any form, clean up all spil ls and soils as soon as possible. Allow the cooktop to co ol down slightly . Then , while wearing oven mitts, remove the spills using a scraper while the surface is still warm.
7 Cookware IMPOR T ANT : Do not leave empty coo kware on a hot surface cooking ar ea, element or surface burner . Ideal cookware should have a flat bottom, straight sides and a well- fitting li d, and the material should be of mediu m-to-heavy thickness.

9 T o set a Timed Bake using Sabb ath M ode (on some models): 1. Press BAKE. 2. Press the “ up” or “do wn” arr ow pads to enter a temperature other than the one displayed. 3. Press COOK TIME. The Cook Time oven indicator light w ill light up. 4.
10 Oven V ent The oven vent releases hot air and moisture fr om the oven, and should not be blocked or covered. Blocking o r covering the vent will cause poor air circulation, af fecting cooking and cleaning results. Do not set plastics, paper or other items that could melt or burn near the oven vent .
