5 BEFORE THE FIRST USE READ BEFORE USIN G THE RICE COOKER FO R THE FIRST TIME. • Wash inner pot, cover, measuring cup, ri ce spatula and steam rack in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. • Never immerse outer pot in water. • Never place liquid in the out er pot; place it only in the in ner pot.
