2. W arnings and Saf ety Precautio ns Do not remove the rear cover – do not attempt to service the prod uct yourself. Removing cover s ca n expose yo u to high voltage and other dangerous conditions leading to serious injury or death. Request a qua lified agent to perform servicing.
Do not all o w anyth ing to r est upo n or roll over the power cord – an d do not place th e TV where the power cord is subject to damage or left t railing in a p osition that could cause someone to trip leading t o injury and/ or damage to t he produ ct.
3. In itial Setup Befor e Starting Please note the following impo rtant points! 1. Two people should lift or carry the TV! 2. Ensure you have plenty of space to work in safely! 3.
Initial Setup Notes on wall mounting the TV Wall mount items (sold separately) allow you to wall mount this TV onto a wall. For detailed information on installing the wall mount, p lease see the instruction s provided with the specific brack et. Contact a technician for assistance when in stalling the TV on a wall mounted bracket.

5. Basic Connec tion and S wit ching the TV On Basic TV Connectio n and Switching O n/ Off 1. Connect your aerial lead into the ANT IN socke t on the rear of the TV – see fig 2. 2. Connect the mains lead (supplied) into the TV and plug int o an appropriate household socket.
When the TV is switched on for the firs t time it may default to Analogue Tuner Mod e (Standard TV) – To start Digital Tuning you must switch the TV into DTV Mo de.
1. The TV should already b e in DTV mode – if it is skip to step 4. If not follow he next steps an d continue. 2. Press the SOURCE key (D) on the remot e con trol – the source input men u appears .
When the TV is switched on for the firs t time it may default to Analogue Tuner Mode (Standard TV) – if not, to start Analogue Tuning you must switch the TV into the TV Mode. First Installation Remote Control Unit: Ensure t hat the remote contr ol is in TV mode – press the TV key (G - fig 1) – the remote will now operate the TV.

9. Men u Operation ADJUSTING TV SETTINGS This sec tio n will help you in navigating the menu systems used for adj usting TV parameters. The On Scre en Menu ’s are very easy to operat e, simply use th e ARROW keys an d ENTER key on t he remote cont rol to access all functionality.

Menu Op eration 1. FAVOURITE LISTS FAVOURITE LISTS Create a Favour ite List Name Channels This sc reen allows you to create a new favourite channels list with select ion criteria. The name of the list is set to “FAV 1/2” for TV ser vices and “RFA V 1/2” for Radio.
