Page 26 P7292 DETUG 09/01 Off Hook Voice Announce with Hands-free Answerback With Off-Hook Voice Announce (OHVA), you can receive a voice announcement from a DX-80 system extension while your telephone is busy. OHVA uses the speakerphone circuit to accommodate a second conversation path to your telephone.

Release Key ! 52 You can use the Release Key to cancel or complete any current action. The Release Key can speed call processing by allowing you to complete a call transfer or end a call without hanging up the handset.

Page 44 P7292 DETUG 09/01 Hot Key Enable/Disable ! /6 Hot Key is the automatic operation of dial pad keys while the telephone is idle. That is, if the telephone is idle and you press a dial pad key ( 1234567890/* ), that button operation is processed as the first command of others that will follow (like the remainder of an extension number).
