5 vax.c o.uk Oper ation Detach the hose adaptor fr om the end of the hose and slide it onto the adaptor post. Fit the wash tool into the middle slot of the hose/tool caddy. Clip the adaptor end of the hose into the left slot on the hose/tool caddy. Be sure to line the push-pin with the slot and slide down until secur ed.
- 6 Oper ation 1 2 Remo ve clean water tank from the carpet washer. Unscrew the filler/ measure cap fr om the rear of the clean water tank. Fil l the bottle cap or measure cap 3 ti me s wit h V a x car pe t cle an in g solution and pour into the tank.
7 vax.c o.uk Oper ation Hose attachments NOTE: DO NOT OVERSA TURA TE Y OUR U PHOLS TERY . For best results use steady, moderate, forw ard and backward motion. Make sure upholstery is dry befor e use. Remo ve the tank door fr om the top of the dirty water tank.
- 8 Oper ation Gr asp the top of the dirty water tank handle and press the release latch. Pull the dirty water tank up out of the base, taking care to ensure that no dirty water leaks from the front. Carry Handle NOTE: Do not transport the carpet washer with either the clean or dirty water tanks full.
9 vax.c o.uk Oper ation Cleaning the dirty water tank Lift the fr ont of the carpet cleaner base off the carpet with one hand. Gr asp the handle and hook the fr ont of the dirty water cleaner into the base, making sure that the fron t of the dirty water tank is resting on the base.
