4 Y our New W asher -Dryer Y our new washer-dryer meets all modern requirements for ef fective treatment of laundry with low water , energy and detergent consumption. Even small loads are washed “economically” because the amount of water used is regulated automatically according to the load and type of fabric.

1 Deter gent dispenser dr a w er 2 Mains-on light This light comes on when the On/Off button is pressed, and goes out when it is pressed again. 3 On/Off button Press this button to switch the machine on. Press it again to switch the machine off. Programme Option buttons Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined.
7 The Rinse hold option CANNOT be selected for the automatic W ashing & Drying programme. 6 Quick button This option can be used for lightly soiled Cottons, Synthetics or Delicate items that have been used or worn for a short time.
8 Reset/cancellation of the pr ogr amme If the programme selector dial is turned to Off position, three blinking dashes are displayed. Now you can select a new programme. (If the programme selector dial has not turned to Off position, when you press the On/Off button to switch the machine on, the display will show a blinking zero.
9 End of pr ogramme When the programme has finished a flashing zero is displayed and the End pilot light illuminates. At the end of the Soak 30 programme, a flashing zero is displayed, the End pilot light is on and the door is locked to indicate that the water must be drained.
Important! At the end of the soak (after having emptied out the water) you can select the washing programme. First turn the programme selector dial to Off , then select the programme and depress the S tart/Pause button.
11 Operating Sequence W ashing only Before the first wash we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve and then run a cotton cycle at 95°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub.
12 5. Select the Spin speed or Rinse hold option Depress the Spin (speed) button to choose the required speed or Rinse hold option: the corresponding light illuminates. 6. Select the r equir ed options The light corresponding to the depressed button illuminates.
13 Switch the machine off by pressing the On/Off button. Remove the laundry from the drum and carefully check that the drum is empty so as to avoid any forgotten items being damaged in a subsequent wash (e.g. shrinking) or their colour running into a load of whites.

20 Cleaning the dr a w er r ecess Having removed the drawer , use a small brush to clean the recess, ensuring that all washing powder residue is removed from the upper and lower part of the recess. Replace the drawer and run the rinse programme without any clothes in the drum.
21 Unscrew and remove the filter . Clean carefully under a fast running tap. Wa r n i n g When the appliance is in use and depending on the programme selected there can be hot water in the filter . Never remove the filter during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty .
22 Something Not W orking Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer .

25 Installation Instructions T echnical Specifications It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way . Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
26 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. Y ou are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the rear right bolt. Lay the machine gently on its back, making sure that the hoses are not squashed.
27 If you cannot make the cold water connection direct from the rising mains, you may be able to operate the appliance from your cold water storage system. There should be a minimum distance of 5.02m (16.5 ft) between the appliance’ s inlet and the bottom of the water storage tank.
28 Special conditions If the floor is carpeted or covered with crumbly or soft material, insert a rigid support base under the feet to prevent noise, vibration or displacement. The base should protrude a few centimetres beyond the edges of the machine.
29 Electrical connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. W ARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EAR THED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed.
30 Building-in This appliance has been designed to be built into the kitchen furniture. The recess should have the dimensions shown in picture A. When installing the appliance into the kitchen furniture ensure, if possible, the hoses are placed in either of the two recesses on the back of the appliance.
31 If the door has to be opened from left to right, invert the position of the plates (7), the magnet (4) and the plate (5) (Fig. B and E). Mount the countermagnet (6) and the hinges (1) as previously described.
