6 Driver Inst allation Driver Inst allation for Windows ® 2000, XP and VIST A No drivers are required. These Windows operating systems have built-in drivers to sup port the StoreJet ™ 1.8 . Simply connect the S toreJet ™ 1.8 to the computer using an available USB port and Windows will install the n ecessary files.
7 Basic Operation Connecting to a Computer If you want to use the S toreJet ™ 1.8 as an External Hard Disk Drive to u pload/download data to, or from your computer you will need to connect it to a USB port on the computer using the provided Mini USB to USB A-T ype cable.
8 Disconnecting from a Computer Removing the S toreJet ™ 1.8 in Windows ® 2000, XP and VIST A 1. Select the icon on the system tray. 2. The “Safely Remove Hardware” pop-up menu will appear. Select it to continue. 3. A message box will appear: “The ‘USB Mass Storage Device’ device can now be safely removed from the system .
