The Flex Arm allows the operator to travel on the road while the 10' or 15' cutter cuts the ditch slope.

Pin the strut assembly to the mounting lugs on the arm and cutter with the 1" bolts. The length of the strut from pinpoint to pinpoint should be set to according to what type of cutter is being attached.

FLX15/10 04/06 2.2 Tractor Safety Devices 2.1 ROPS and Seat Belt A Roll-Over-Protective-Structure (ROPS) and seat belt are essential to protect the operator from falling off the tractor, especially during a roll over where the driver could be crushed and killed.

Ensure the FLEX-ARM is equipped with the correct gearbox output shaft. 2. Using the parking jack, position the cutter tongue clevis to the height of the FLEX-ARM precision hitch.

Cutting height for the wing cylinders will be automatically controlled by the hydraulic phasing system.

All Safety Shields, Guards and Safety devices including (but not limited to) - the Deflectors, Chain Guards, Steel Guards, Gearbox Shields, PTO integral shields, and the Retractable Door Shields should be used and maintained in good working condition.

If the mower must be raised higher than 12” from ground level, disengage the tractor PTO and wait for all mower rotation to come to a complete stop before proceeding to raise the mower.

DISCONNECTING FLEX-ARM & MOWER FROM THE TRACT OR Always shut the T ractor completely down, place the transmission in park, and set the p arking brake before you or anyone else attempts to connect or disconnect the Implement and Tractor hitches.

FLX15/10 04/06 Before transporting the tractor on a public roadway or boarding a trailer for transport, the tractor brake pedals should be locked together. Locking the pedals ensures that both wheels brake simultaneously while stopping, especially when making an emergency stop.

Follow the instructions and safety precautions listed in this manual to disconnect and separated the mower from the Flex Arm.

Check all nuts and bolts for tightness after the first 8 hours of operation, then weekly. Check the condition of cotter pins, roll pins and other fasteners weekly and replace if necessary.
