Using your Ellise ® Cookware Before the first use: Ensureall stickers are removed from the product. W ash in warm soapy water , rinse thoroughly and dry your pan and lid. Note: W e recommend 'seasoning' thepan before use.
11 Baking Y our frypan can be used for bakingcakes, with deliciously moist results. 1. Preheat thefrypan to setting 15, with the lid on. 2. Elevate thecake pan or tray from the base of thefrypan using a small wire rack.
12 Frying The frypan is ideal for shallow or dry frying. Deep fryingis not particularly suitable as the frypan has shallow sides and a greater surface area, which results in heat loss and the possible overflow of oil. 13 Cooking with your SK6450 Ellise ® Stainless Steel Skillet Frying The skilletis ideal for shallow or dry frying. Deep fryingis not suitable as the skillet has shallow sides and a greater surface area, which results in heat loss and the possible overflow of oil.
14 Stir -Frying. Stir -frying is aquick cooking method conducted oververy high heat. The wok should be hot before adding oil or any ingredients. Besure to maintain maximum heat whenstir-frying,by cooking food in small batches.
15 • Cook foodpieces a few at a time. This prevents lowering the oil temperature and food from having a soggy crust. • Drain thefood on paper towelling as soon as it is removed from the oil.
