9 Full address searc h Follow the procedu re below if you know the house nu mbe r , str eet nam e, and th e city na me of the dest ination. 1 In the menu display , touch , the n “Enter Address. ” If the state s election disp lay appe ars, select the new (c urrent ) state or “Cha nge to Different St ate.
10 POI search POI (Poi nts Of Interest) searc h allo ws you to set fac ilities such as rest aurants, hotels , gas stations, etc ., as the dest inati on. 17 TMC information The bu ilt-in TMC (T raff ic Messag e Channel) receiver* allows yo u to rece ive traff ic infor mation. Y ou can check th e traffic messag es. * For NV -U83T , the r eceiver is located in the crad le. For NV -U73T , the r eceiver is located in the u nit.

30 Map data management Y ou can transfe r and replace t he map data on the unit, using the software (e .g., to rest ore map data if necessa ry). Before st arting, connect the unit to your computer and sta rt the softwar e. T o transfer the map data on t he supplied/op tional disc, in sert the di sc.
