2 About this Manual This manual provides instructions to help you enjoy your new TV . It shows you how to connect to an antenn a or cable, cable box, VCR, DVD, sa tellite receiver , stereo sy stem, or camcorder . On ce your TV is connected, follow the instructions and use the r emote co ntr ol to access the on-scr een menus.

23 Basi c Functi ons Using Basic Functions Setting Up the TV After you have finished connecting your TV , yo u can use Auto Pr ogram to set up your channels. Du ring Auto Program, the TV will automa tically search for available chann els and program r eceivable channels .

(For Ca nada, see pa ge 38.) Movie Rating This system defines the rating levels of m ovies shown in theaters and on prime cable channels.
