48 Instructions f or the user 7. USING THE OVEN 7.1 General De scription 7.1.1 Oven rac ks The ov en f eatures 4 runners for positioning trays and grills at different heights. The insertions h eights are numbered from the bottom upwards (see figure). (When using the recipe s, the displa y will show the recommended ru nner f or the selected recipe).

Cooking itself is preceeded by a preheating stage, which allows the ov en to heat to the cooking temperature more quickly .

63 Instructions f or the user COOKING HINTS FOR MEA T : • Cooking times, especially meat, vary accordi ng to the thickness and quality of the f ood and to consumer taste. • T o sav e energy when roasting, we recommend putting the f ood in the cold ov en.
64 Instructions f or the user • When thawing meat, we recommend using a rack positioned on the second r unner with the food on it and a tra y positioned on the first r unner. In this w a y , the liquid from the thawing f o od drains aw a y from the f ood.

Fit the frame B onto the secon d runners from the bo ttom. Remov e the ha ndle D and position the rotisserie rod so that the pulley E is still in the guides on the frame B.

72 Instructions f or the user 9.6 Pyr olysis: automatic o ven c leaning (on some models only) Pyrolysis is an automatic high-tem perature clea ning procedure which causes dir t to d issolve . Thanks to this process, it is possi ble to clean the inside of the oven with g reat ease.
73 Instructions f or the user 9.6.2 Setting the c leaning cyc le Use PT2 to select one of the two pyrolysis functions ( and ) with the ov en in ON status.
74 Instructions f or the user 10. EXTRA ORDINAR Y MAINTENANCE The ov en may require e xtraordi nar y ma intenance or replac ement of par ts subject to wear such as seals, bulbs , and so on. The f ollowing instructions describe how to carr y out these minor maintenance operations.
75 Instructions f or the user 10.2.2 Remo ving door s with pins Open the door completely and inser t the pins (supplied) into the holes from the inside. Close the door to an angle of about 45° and lift it off . T o reassemble, fit the hinges into their groo ves , then lo wer t he door into place and e xtract the pins.

INST ALLING THE APPLIANCE 11.1 Electrical c onnection The I.D . plate with technical data, registration number and brand name is positioned visibly on the o ven door fr ame. The plate must not be removed. The appliance must be connected to ear th in compliance with electrical system safety regulations.
79 Instructions f or the user 11.2 P ositioning the o ven The ov en is designed f or mounting into any piece of furni ture as long as it is heat-resistant. Proceed acording to the dimensions shown in Figures 1 , 2 and 3 . For installing under a wor k top , follo w the dimensions given in Figure 1 - 3 .
