EN 2 READ THE INSTRUCTIONS Attention! EN 6 2.2 POSITIONING AND LEVE LLING 1. Place the applian ce in t he chosen position. 2. Level the a ppliance carefully in all di rections with the aid of a spirit level, adjusting the height of the feet if necessary. Once done, fix the feet in place with the lo cknuts pro- vided.
EN 7 2.3 CONNECT ING TO THE WA TER SUPPLY 1. Check that the water supply pressure is in the following range: 0,05-0,9MPa . W ith higher pressures, use a pressure reduce r. 2. Connect the cold wate r supply hose ( blue screw collar ) to the cold water tap with ¾ gas threaded connector, taking care to tighten firmly to prevent leaks.
EN 8 • Do not connection /disconnect the power supply plug from the socket with wet hands • Onl y di sconnect the power supply plug from the s ocket by taking hold of the plug itself, never b y pulling on the lead.
EN 9 4. USING THE A PPLIANC E FOR WASHING 4.1 PREPA RING THE ITEMS FOR WA SHING 1. Subdivide the items for washin g by fabric type and colour fastness. 2. Wash white a nd c oloured items separ ately. New coloured items should be washed separately the f irst time.
EN 10 4.4 LOADING TH E ITEMS FOR WA SHING 1. Open the door a nd l oad the laundry, distributing it evenly over the d rum, with items opened out and n ot bundled together; if possible, large and small items should be well mixed. 2. The washing machine covered b y this manual can be l oaded with up to 6kg of lau ndry for each wash.
EN 11 4.6 POWDER DET ERGENT DOSES Laundry with normal dirt 1. Choose a programme without pre wash. 2. Pour the total amoun t o f detergent shown on the pac k into the m ain wash compartment of the detergent dra - wer. Ver y dirty laundr y 1. Choose a programme with prewash.
EN 12 4.10 SWITCH ING ON THE AP PLIANCE AND SELEC TING THE WA SHING PROGRA MME To switch on the appliance and select the prog ramme, proceed as follows: 1. Turn the programmes knob in eithe r direction. This switches on the washer-dryer. 2. Select the washing programme.
EN 13 4.11 SELECT ING A ND CONFIRMING OPTIONS 1. The Option Selection button can be used to select the fo llowing options in sequence (from the top down): Prewash : adds a stage be fore the main wash, lasting about 2 0 minutes at a temperature o f 35 °C.
EN 14 4.12 TIME TO END 1. The Time to End key can be pre ssed repeatedly to select the time after which the washing programme will end. The time to end of cycle function calculates the initial duratio.
EN 15 4.14 INTER RUPTING OR CHA NGING THE WASHING PR OGRAMME The washing programme in progress can be interrupte d at any moment: 1. press the “Start/Pause” button for ab out 3 seconds: the display s hows the word PAUS (for 1 s econd) al- ternating with the time re maining u ntil the end of the cycle (for 1 se cond).
EN 16 4.17 OPENING T HE APPLIA NCE IN AN EMERGENCY In t he event of a power failure, the door is opened using the mechanical release device activated by means of th e lever in the bottom of the appliance: • Turn t he knob to Off and disconnect the power supply plug from the socket.
EN 17 5. USING THE A PPLIANC E FOR DRYING 5.1 GENERA L During drying c y cles, the water tap must be turned on and the drain hose correctly positioned.
EN 18 5.2 WASH - A ND-DRY PROGRA MME Automatic washing an d drying ca n be carried out in th e tough fa brics (cotton and colours) and synth etic/delicate fabrics programmes. If the wool wash pr ogrammes are selected, automatic drying after the wash cannot be set.
EN 19 5.4 DRY ONLY PRO GRA MME 1. Turn the appliance off by turning the washing/drying p rogrammes selector knob to OFF. 2. Turn the knob to the dryin g prog ramme req uired: Intens ive drying: for normal drying (90°C), or Gent le drying : for delicate fabrics (60°C).
EN 20 6. CLEANING A ND MAINTENA NCE Important – Before ca rry ing out any cleaning or maintenance procedure, the plug must be disconnected from the power suppl y socket. 6.1 CLEANING T HE OUT SIDE OF THE APPLIAN CE • Regular, thorough cleaning will keep your app liance looking good.
EN 21 3. Extract the drain hose ”A”. W arning: i f the hose is hot, the water is hot or boiling hot. Place a s hallow container on the floor and remove the plug “B” to drain off the water. Depending on the amount of water in th e appliance, the contai ner may ha ve to be emptied several times.
