Status The pages in t he status secti on provi de you g eneral i nformation about t he operational status of yo ur devi ce. Statistics Y ou ca n view statisti cs on the processi ng of IP packets o n the n etworking interfaces . Y ou wi l l not typica ll y need to view thi s data, but you may fi nd it helpf ul w hen worki ng wi th your ISP to diag nose network and Internet data transmission probl ems.
DHCP List This pa ge sh ows al l D HCP cl ients ( LAN PCs) currently connected to your network. The table show s the assi gne d IP add ress, MAC address and expi ration time f or each DHC P lease d cl i ent.
Diagnostics The Dia gnost ics page al lows you to test t he current c onfi guration. Clic k ‘Start’ to let th e modem router perf orm several tasks to verify if t he connecti on is o perational.

12 Basi c Setting s LAN Settings This page i s us ed to c onfi gure t he LAN interface of your ADS L Router . Y ou can set IP addres s, s ubnet mask, and IGMP S noo pi ng or mo dify the IP v6 ad dress range .
DHCP Settings Y ou can confi gure your network an d the ro uter to us e the Dynami c Hos t Confi guration Protocol (DH CP). This page al l ows you to se lect t he DHCP mo de that this ro uter wi l l su pport. There are two diff erent DHCP Modes: DHCP Server and DHC P R e lay .

ATM VC • Virtual Circuit: VPI (Virtual Path Ident ifi er) and VC I (Virt ual Channe l Identif ier) defi ne a v irtual ci rcuit. • VPI : The vali d range fo r the VPI is 0 to 255. Enter the V PI assi gned to you. This fi el d may already be con fig ured.

Enable/Disable QoS Y ou can chec k “Enable QoS” to enab le QoS functiona li ty for the WAN port. SNMP Simp le Network Management Protocol ( SNMP ) is a t roublesh ooti ng and management protoc ol t hat uses t he UDP protoc ol o n port 161 to communi cate between c li ents a nd ser vers. The router can be managed lo call y or rem otely by SNMP protocol .
DDNS Dynamic DN S (DDNS ) al lows you to map the stati c domai n name to a dynamic IP address. You must get an accou nt, password an d your static domai n name from the DD NS servi ce providers . Parameter Description Enable Check the box to e nable DDNS functi on.

R eboot Whenever you use the W eb co nfi guration to ch ange system s ettin gs, t he changes are ini tia lly pla ced i n temporary storage. T o save your change for future use, you have to cli ck “ Ap ply ” to re boot the router .
