[ Operation ] 2 0 Operation Display Screen Information The display screen of the SI R I US St armate 3 provides information about the operation of the receiver , such as the currently tuned channel, song or show being played, artist name, time and other information.
[ Operation ] 2 1 Changing Channels and Categories Pressing the channel up or down button will cause the receiver to immediately tune to the next or previous channel.
[ Operation ] 2 2 will revert to the default display screen for the new channel. T o exit the channel list mode without changing to a different c hannel, press and hold the D I S P button for 1½ seconds, until the default screen is displayed.

[ Operation ] 3 6 Jump Button The receiver has a special preset button called the Jump button, whic h is identified by the icon. The Jump button is used to quic kly tune to a channel that is accessed frequently and temporarily such as a weather c hannel, a news channel, a sports channel, or any c hannel at all.
[ Operation ] 3 7 Game Alert The receiver has a feature called Game Alert whic h can automatically alert you when your fa- vorite sports team is playing a game. W hen a sports game involving one of your favorite sports teams is found, a Game Alert screen is displayed, followed by a screen displaying tuning infor- mation for the sports games.
[ Operation ] 3 8 FM Preset Button The receiver has a special button called the FM Preset button, which is identified by the icon. W hen the F M Preset button is pressed, the receiver turns on the built-in FM transmitter and begins transmitting on the next frequency from the FM frequency preset list.
[ Menu Options ] 3 9 Menu Options T o enter the Menu Options page of the receiver, press the MENU button. The Menu Options list will be displayed. [ Menu Options ] 4 5 JumpSet T o set the Jump button to a specific channel (other than a traffic channel) when pressed, do the following: Use the channel up and down buttons to highlight the “ JumpSet” option, and press the Select button. Figure 14 will be displayed.

[ Menu Options ] 47 memory options The Memory Options feature allows you to set whether the automatic S-Seek feature is On or Off, and also provides the a way to clear (erase) all the stored S-Seek alerts from memory .
[ Menu Options ] 4 8 Clear All Memory T o clear all the S-Seek alerts stored in memory, do the following: Use the channel up and down buttons to highlight Clear All Memory , and press the Select button. At the confirmation screen, use the channel up and down buttons to highlight Y e s and press the Select button.
[ Menu Options ] 4 9 Confirmation T one The receiver will sound an audio tone alert when it is powered On or Off, as well as when an S-Seek alert is activated and other alerts. The default setting is On. T o change the Confirma- tion T one setting to On or Off, use the channel up or down buttons to highlight On or Off , and press the Select button.

[ Menu Options ] 5 2 Edit Code This setting allows you to c hange a previously selected Parent al Control code. The first time the Edit Code setting is accessed you will be prompted to enter a four digit code. (Figure 29) This code can be any four digit number from 0000 to 999 9.
[ Menu Options ] 5 3 Enter Code Wrong Code If the correct code was entered, the “New Code” prompt will appear . Enter the new Parental Control code. (Figure 32) New Code # ____ # ____ Y ou will then be prompted to confirm the new code by entering it again.

[ Menu Options ] 6 1 Auto Shutdown Y ou can set the receiver to automatically power off after a 1 hour period of inactivity , that is, no buttons have been pressed for 1 hour . W hen the Auto Shutdown feature is enabled, after 5 9 minutes of inactivity , a beep tone will sound and a display prompt will appear on the screen, Cancel Auto Shutdown .
