4 Section 1: Getting Star ted This section describes how to start using your phone by activating your phone, inserting your SIM card and battery , and navigating from the Home screen .
Getting Started 5 䊳 Make sure the gold contact s of the card face into the phone, then slide the SIM card into the socket. Re mo ving the SIM Card 䊳 T o remove the SIM c ard, slide it away from the socket. See the following illustration. Instal ling t he Batte r y 1.
6 Charging a Batter y Y our phone is powered by a rechar geable Li-ion battery . Use the travel adapter to charge the batter y , and use only Samsung approved batteries and chargers. Note: Y ou must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time.

22 Locking the Phon e Y ou can prot ect your phone using the De vice Lock fea ture. Once the feature is enab led, your phone is automatically lo cked after the specified pe riod of inactivity. Note: Even if the phone is locked, you are able to receive calls.

26 Adding Programs Using Microsoft ® Activ eSync ® Y ou can install programs downloaded f rom the Internet or included on the Getting Started CD includ ed with your Samsung Propel Pro TM by performing synchroniz ation between your phone and your computer .

Adobe Flash Lite Adobe® Flash® Lite™ software is a powerful runtime engine for mobile devices that provides customers with complete web browsing experiences, video, a nd compelling interactive content.
