Getting Started With Sprint Service Determining If Y our Phone Is Already Activ ated If you purchased y our phone at a Sprint Store, it is probably activated, unlock ed, and ready to use. If you received y our phone in the mail, it probably has been activated; all y ou need to do is unlock it.
Setting Up Ser vic e l If activation is still unsuccessful, please call Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727 from another phone for assistance. Activating Y our Phone If Y ou Have Canceled the Activ ation If you press while ac tiva ting your phone, the activa tion will be canceled and you will be requir ed to activate it from the main menu.
Setting Up Y our V oicemail All unanswered calls to y our phone are automatically transf erred to y our voicemail, ev en if your phone is in use or turned off . Therefor e, you will wan t to set up y our voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your phone is activ ated.

14 Sec tion 2A: Phone Basics K ey Functions 1. Earpiece lets you hear the caller and automa ted prompts. 2. Main Screen displays all the informa tion needed to operate your phone, such as the call status , the Contacts list, the date and time, and the signal and battery str ength.
