15 Using the car Mounting kit 1. Clean and dry the mounting su rface with a clean cotton cloth. 2. If the ambient temperature is below +60°F (15°C), you can warm the mounting area and the suctio n cup (e.g. with a hair dryer) to ensure a strong suction bond.

19 3 System 3.1 Initial settings 1. T urn on the Battery ON / OFF switch. 2. Select the desired language English/Español/Français. 3. Set the time zone. 4. Set the rear view camera input. T o use the rear view camera select “ON”, if you do n't use the rear view camera select “OFF”.

If you would like to switch the camera image manually , set “Camera Automatic Display” to “OFF”. At such times, tap the “Camera” icon in the “Settings” menu, the camera image is displayed.

41 6 T roubleshooting 6.1 Y our device does not turn on. • Check that the battery switch is ON. • Check that the Car adaptor is connected to your device. • Check that the battery power of your device is enough. 6.2 The internal battery cannot be charged or charging time is long.
42 6.10 Getting a GPS fix takes longer time than normal. • If the previous GPS fix position was more than 500 km or 12 hours apart from your current position and time, it will take significantly longer than the standard TTFF time to get a GPS fix.
