Getting Started 1-15 Connecting the A C Adapter The AC adapter c onnects to the s y stem in two ways, either inter nally or externally. Follow these steps to connect the AC adapter. 1 Connecting the Adapter Internally 1. During pack ing, the AC adapter is inserted into the power bay.
1-16 User’s M anual Connecting the Adapter Externally 1. Release the AC adapter lock and slide the AC adapter out of the power bay . 2. You may now insert the battery pack into the power bay . Slide it into the bay until it clic ks into place. 3. Connect the power cord to the AC adapter.

To s implif y the keyboard legend, the cursor- control k ey symbols are not printed on the k eys.
