2 Calling Options 31 Correct ing a Misd ialed Nu mber T o cor rect a mis dialed digit or number: • Press to eras e the digit, and th en enter the correct digit. • Press and hold to erase the entire number entry , and then enter the correct number .
Calling Options 32 Missed Cal l Alert Y our phone keeps a l ist of calls that y ou do not a nsw er when the phone i s on and service is av ailable. The p hone indicates a missed cal l by sounding an al ert tone and displa ying a te xt notificatio n on the screen, along with the n umber of missed calls.
2 Calling Options 33 Failed Call Alert A failed c all can occur during dialing if the phone is out of calling ra ng e or the netw ork is busy . The phone r esponds to a failed c all by disp laying an appr opriate te xt mes sage: “ Call Failed - Out of Range ” or “Call F ailed - Netw or k Busy”.
Calling Options 34 Microph one M ute Y ou can mute the micr ophone during conversation by pr essing the Mute button ( ) . When Mute is activ e, “MUTE” displays, instead of the call tim er . The phone resets this conditi on to the default “u nmute” setting at ca ll end.

Calling Options 38 Ring T one Mute Use this featur e when the ringe r sounds and y ou need to silence it quickl y . There are tw o types of Ring T one mute on your phone. • When the f lip is closed, mute the ringer by pressing the key (it’ s on the si de of the phone).
