5 EN Setting the T ime Your microwave oven has an inb uilt clock. When power is supplied, “:0”, “88:88” or “12:00” is automat ically displayed on the display. Please set the current time. The time can be displayed in either the 24- hour or 12-hour notation.
6 EN Cooking / Reheating The following procedure ex plains how to cook or reheat fo od. ALWAYS check your cooking sett ings before leaving the oven unattended. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable. Then, close the door. Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty.
7 EN Using the A uto Reheat/Cook F eature The Auto Reheat/Cook feature ha s five pre-programmed cooking times. You do not need to set eith er the cooking times or the p ower level. You can adjust the number of se rvings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons.
8 EN Using the Cafeteria F eature With the Cafete ria feature, the cooking tim e is set automatical ly. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door.
9 EN Using the A uto Rapid Defrost F eature The Auto Rapid Defrost feature enables you to defro st meat, poultry, fish and bread/cake. The defros t time and power level are set automatically. You simply select the programme and the weight. Use only dishes that are microwave-safe.
10 EN Using the P ower Steam Function With the power steam feature, the cooking time is set automatically. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the ( ) and ( ) buttons. Use the plastic steam cooker wh en using power steam function. First, place the plastic steam cooker in the centre of the turn table and close the door.
11 EN Using the Deodorization F eature Use this feature after cooking odorou s food or when there is a lot of smoke in the oven interior. First clean the oven inte rior. The deodorization time has been specified as 5 minutes. It increases by 30 seconds whenever the +30s button is pressed.
12 EN Cookware Guide To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the food, wit hout being reflected or absorb ed by the dish used. Care must therefore be taken wh en choosing the co okware. If the cookware is marked microwave-sa fe, you do not need to worry.
