Connecting a Client Monito r 1) Connect to t he host PC usi ng a LAN cable 1. Connec t the pow er cord to the power terminal at t he back of the m onitor. 2. Connec t the mous e and th e keyboard to the U SB ports. 3. Connec t the LAN p ort on the back of th e monito r and the hub.
1. When sta rting the syste m for the first time, the Thin Client Setu p Wizard is lau nched as shown bel ow. If Next is not c licked d uring the 15 sec ond co untdown aft er the first 3 0 second s, all sett ings are config ured to th e factory de faults a nd the s etup wiz ard is exit ed.

3) Connecting to the Host PC You can a dd, edit or remove c onnecti ons using the Terminal Connection Man ager (Thin Clie nt Shell) or the icon/menus on the Desk top. However , this fu nction requires administra tor privi leges. If yo u logge d on as a li mited u ser, the menus for c onfiguri ng con nection s are hi dden or deactiv ated.
Click N ext to proceed to th e next s tep. 2. Enter t he name that will be display ed in t he list on the Te rminal Co nnecti on Manager (o r as a conne ction i con on t he Deskt op) and c lick Next. 3. When you connec t to the server, the server’s D esktop is displ ayed on the monito r, by default.

4) How to Confi gure Host PC To conne ct to a host PC from a client m onitor, you mu st first add a user a s desc ribed below : 1. Add a use r to the h ost PC. Right-cli ck My Computer on the Desktop and sel ect Manage from the dis played menu. The Computer Mana gement windo w is displayed .
3. Right-cli ck on the n ew user ju st crea ted and s elect Properties from the dis played m enu. Select th e Memb er Of tab. If the Use r group en try exists in the l ist, remov e it from the list. Note: A u ser accoun t shoul d belong to either th e Administrators or Remote Desktop Users gr oup so that it can logon to the hos t PC.

How can I clean the oute r case/L CD Panel? Disc onnect the p ower cord and then clean the moni tor with a soft cloth, u sing either a clean ing solution o r plain water. Do not leave any deter gent or scratches o n the case. Do no t let any water e nter the monitor.
