10- ENG D25802 HOW TO USE WAND Risk of injection or injury to person. Do not direct discharge stream towar d persons, unprotected skin, eyes, or with any pets or animals. Serious injury can occur . DO NOT attempt to change nozzles while pressur e washer is running.
11- ENG D25802 HOW TO SIPHON CHEMICALS AND CLEANING SOL VENTS Siphoning chemicals or cleaning solvents is a low pressur e operation. NOTE: Use only soaps and chemicals designed for pressur e washer use. Do not use bleach. T o siphon chemicals: 1. Pr ess chemical hose onto barbed fitting located near high pressur e hose connection of pump as shown.
12- ENG D25802 ST ARTING Prior to starting, refer to your engine manual for pr oper starting procedur es for your engine type. 1. In a well ventilated outdoor area Add fr esh high quality unleaded gasoline with a pump octane rating of 86 or higher . Do not overfill.
13- ENG D25802 When performing maintenance, you may be exposed to hot surfaces, water pressur e, moving parts, or fire that can cause serious injury or death! Before performing any maintenance or r epair , disconnect spark plug wir e, let engine cool and release all water pr essure.
14- ENG D25802 HOW TO CLEAN THE WA TER INLET FIL TER This screen filter should be checked periodically and cleaned if necessary . 1. Remove filter by grasping end and r emoving it from water inlet of pump as shown. 2. Clean filter by flushing it with water on both sides.
15- ENG D25802 ENGINE Consult the Engine Owners Manual for the manufacturer's r ecommendations for storage. PUMP It is recommended that you follow these steps to pr otect the internal seals of the pressur e washer when STORING THE UNIT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD and/or WHEN FREEZING TEMPERA TURES ARE EXPECTED.
